Deb Kristovich
Deb, the founder of One to One Physical Therapy, has been living in Tacoma since 1986. She attended the University of Puget Sound where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science in 1988 and a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy in 1991. She became a Certified Athletic Trainer in 1990 and took on the roll of Education Coordinator in the University of Puget Sound’s Sports Medicine Program where she mentored student athletic trainers entering and progressing through the program. She was also involved in the rehab of multiple and varied athletes at Bellarmine Prep High School and Tacoma Community College.
After experiencing other Physical Therapy settings, she opened One to One Physical Therapy in Old Town Tacoma in 1999 to emphasize her belief in an individualized “one-to-one” approach to the care of every patient walking through our doors. The ultimate goal of this personal attention is that all of our patients will improve and return to their “best lives” quickly. We, as Physical Therapists also thrive by seeing the positive results achieved by our clients as they resume normal life again in their recovery from varied injuries. We value and covet the high quality, “one to one” rehab opportunities we have with each of our patients and receive great satisfaction working in this this type of environment. This is especially true as health care changes continue to challenge this type of care.
One to One Physical Therapy is a positive and healing place with really great people! We would love to help you to get your best life back again. Come see us!

Seth Darcangelo
Quality of life means a lot more than being able to wake up every day and sit on the couch. True quality of life means having the power to live out your passions, create memories with your friends and family, and cheer on the Seattle Seahawks. At least, that’s what a great quality of life is for Seth Darcangelo.
Seth is a Washington native, and graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Puget Sound in 2012. Being a sports lover, Seth values that physical therapy is truly a team sport. Seth is a great listener and problem-solver, and ensures that his patients appreciate that they are the “most valuable player” of their own healthcare team. In putting his patients first, Seth exemplifies sincerity and a genuine love for learning and educating others. He achieves this in the clinic by seeking out ideas and opinions from his colleagues at One to One, as he understands that a good physical therapist may say he has all of the answers, but a great physical therapist is not afraid to keep asking questions, seeking out advice, and bettering himself daily in order to provide his patients with the best care possible.
Although Seth would never assert himself as the star of the team, his personality in the clinic shines. Seth is driven by a love of empowering people to recover. He is most proud when he sees his patients take ownership of their own health and learn to love how their bodies feel when they are pain-free, healthier, and stronger. Seth recognizes that getting better, improving movement, and achieving goals are an active process, which take great effort. But just because it involves effort does not mean it cannot be fun. One to One is Seth’s playground- he lives for meeting new people, creating individualized plans of care, brainstorming new ideas, and supplying jokes and laughter.
Seth Darcangelo teaches his patients the importance of practicing good habits in order to create the highest quality of life. And that is the way Seth lives his life as well. When he is not at One to One, you will find Seth playing baseball in the backyard with his son, traveling with his friends and family, and going to Mariners and Seahawks games. He hopes that his patients see the way he practices and the way he lives his life align with how his patients feel when they walk out of the clinic- full of good memories, a healthy lifestyle, happiness, and fun. Go Hawks!

Nolan O’Malley
Nolan grew up way down south on the gulf coast of Florida. He studied Biomedical Sciences at the University of South Florida and received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis. After graduation, he was drawn to the pacific northwest by his love for the outdoors. The beaches of south Florida will always have a special place in his heart, but the adventurous side of him enjoys hiking, camping, and climbing in the PNW, especially in Leavenworth – his favorite place in Washington.
Nolan’s professional training emphasizes a movement-based approach, which requires very individualized care. One to One Physical Therapy has just that – one on one care with the time for skilled eyes and hands to help you move better. He looks forward to getting to know his patients and their movement patterns to help refine these strategies and get them back to the things they enjoy and love to do.
In an effort toward continued clinical expertise and to work toward his personal climbing goals, Nolan has geared all of his continuing education specifically toward rehab, injury prevention, and improving performance of rock climbers and mountaineers, which is his greatest passion. Naturally, when Nolan is not in the clinic you can find him hiking with his beautiful wife, Chelsea, or bouldering at one of the awesome climbing gyms around the Seattle/Tacoma area!

Kaitlin Butner
Kaitlin is one of the owners here at One to One! She grew up in the Tacoma area where she attended school at Washington State University, earning a degree in Kinesiology. While there she discovered how people, when given the right tools and support, have the capacity to heal within themselves. She took this idea and moved to Philadelphia to get her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2017 from Thomas Jefferson University.
While in Philadelphia she focused much of her time working with patients diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease which has helped shape the therapist she is today. With a special interest for those diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease, she also found that there is a section of care women are missing before and after having a child. As a new mom herself, Kaitlin has focused much of her time learning how to provide the best care possible to allow new moms to embrace the exciting changes that their bodies are going through as well as facilitate overall health and wellbeing through this time.
Today, she lives near Point Defiance with her husband, daughter and three energetic dogs. While not running around after her daughter, she enjoys visiting local restaurants and breweries around Tacoma and fixing up her new home.

Wynne is one of the owners here at One to One! She is a native Midwesterner who relocated to the Pacific Northwest in 2009. Tacoma quickly became her home, and she is happy to say she is here to stay. Wynne is constantly inspired by patients’ work ethic, positive attitudes, and life experiences that bring them in the door. She fondly remembers discussing life with her 80 year old patient during one of their sessions. When asked which age was her patient’s favorite, she quickly responded “This one. Why would I want to be anywhere than where I am right now?” Wynne has adopted this as her own motto and strives to make every day the best for herself and her patients. Wynne is passionate about healthy living and strives to motivate others to do the same.
Wynne graduated with a degree in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Puget Sound. Wynne was a student at One to One during PT school, but career opportunities took her out of Washington for a few years before she eventually moved back to her forever home here in Tacoma. Wynne knew One to One was a perfect fit for her because she was instantly drawn to the energetic and encouraging atmosphere that affords people the opportunity to feel inspired to make positive changes in their lives. During her time as a PT, Wynne has treated patients of all ages and conditions with a strong emphasis on functional movement training and patient empowerment.
Outside of One to One, Wynne enjoys spending time exploring the Pacific Northwest with her husband, three boys, and two dogs. She is an avid and loyal follower of the Fighting Illini and Green Bay Packers and is quickly becoming a dedicated fan of the Seattle Kraken. Fun fact: Wynne’s yellow lab, Scout, is the clinic dog who is always in need of more belly rubs.

Upon graduating in 2004 from the University of Puget Sound with a B.S. in Exercise Science while on the softball diamond for the Loggers, she returned to Puget Sound and received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2009.
With nearly 12 years of inpatient and outpatient hospital experience, Kelsey is excited to bring her experience closer to home here at One to One. While her plans as a youngster to marry a doctor and become a kindergarten teacher didn’t exactly pan out, she became a doctor and married a teacher.
Kelsey’s goal in the clinic is simple – helping others improve their quality of life and reach their personal goals through education, exercise, and manual therapy. Special interests include chronic pain and Parkinson’s Disease (LSVT certified).
Outside the clinic, and in addition to relaxing on her own, Kelsey enjoys time with her family – John, Garyn, and Lauryn – and favorite activities include hiking, kayaking, karaoke, exploring Tacoma, trips to the zoo and the Happiest Place on Earth.

Heather Rossman
“Family is not an important thing. It’s everything.”- Michael J. Fox
For One to One’s resident “mama bear”, Heather Rossman, this idea is actually a fact of life. Family is not only her amazing husband and three children, but the people she chooses to spend her day with at One to One as well. Heather has the warmest heart and an unmatched ability to treat everyone as if they are her own.
As the manager of the front office, Heather is primarily responsible for making sure each patient knows and feels he/she will be taken care of at One to One. This entails communicating with every patient and his/her insurance provider, creating and organizing the clinic’s schedule so that it works best for each patient and therapist, and training her staff to be as lovingly-focused on attention to detail, to ensure the best patient experience.
Heather proudly takes ownership of great responsibilities, so it is no surprise that she lives by the following quote by Eleanor Roosevelt. “In the long run, we shape our lives, and we shape ourselves. The process never ends until we die. And the choices we make are ultimately our own responsibility.”
Every day, Heather chooses laughter. She chooses to be a role model for three young kids. She chooses to give back to the community through supporting veterans and the humane society. She chooses to love and treat everyone in her life as family. Through all of her daily choices, Heather has shaped herself into this amazing, spunky redhead with brightest smile and kindest soul. And without even realizing it, Heather’s choices shape and inspire all those around her to choose to be more like her every day.

I have been with One to One since the beginning. I am knowledgeable of the human form and am always willing to share what I know. I do tend to be a bit of a workaholic because I never take a sick day and work long hours. Sometimes I feel like I live here at One to One. In my spare time I like to listen to music, George Thorogood’s “Bad to the Bone” is one of my favorites.
