Physical Therapy Evaluation
At your first visit, your physical therapist will listen to your story, walk you through specific movement tests & measures, then review the most important factors to address going forward with treatment both in the clinic and at home.
It is important to wear (or bring) appropriate clothing for your first visit to make sure your therapist can get an accurate assessment of you & your movement patterns. For example, wear a tank top or sports bra for a shoulder evaluation & wear shorts for a hip, knee, or ankle evaluation.
-
Physical Therapy Follow Ups
After establishing a plan at your initial evaluation, each follow up appointment will be you & your physical therapist working together to solve your pain problem.

Wellness Sessions & Cash Rate Visits
This is a great option if you need to see a physical therapist quickly but do not have insurance, do not have a referral, or prefer to not use your insurance for various reasons.
This type of session is also great for returning patients who want to update their exercise programs or touch base with their physical therapist after they have been formally discharged from PT.

Pelvic Health Physical Therapy
Wynne & Kaitlin, our pelvic health therapists, are experts in evaluating and treating a variety of pelvic floor conditions, including post-partum care after vaginal or cesarean delivery, core/pelvic floor strengthening, pelvic pain, urinary/fecal incontinence, constipation, pelvic organ prolapse and many more conditions related to pelvic health.
Based on your level of comfort, your assessment may include testing the strength and coordination of the pelvic floor muscles, as well as your posture, movement patterns, and breathing mechanics.
Your therapist will develop an individualized treatment plan that may include exercises to strengthen or relax the pelvic floor muscles, manual therapy to release muscle tension, education on bladder and bowel habits, and behavioral modifications.

All fitness levels are welcome (total beginners to intermediate lifters), but most recommended for women who can easily get up & down from the floor and walk one mile.
